Last weekend was a busy couple of days for Oldham Mountain Rescue Team with members attending three callouts and a training exercise.

An Oldham youth charity is marking Volunteers’ Week by launching an appeal for 15 new mentors as part of its 15th anniversary year.

Oasis Academy Leesbrook has been awarded the SEND Inclusion Award by Optimus Education, recognising its outstanding commitment to improving outcomes for pupils with SEND and its clear alignment with the national Oasis Trust vision for inclusion.

Police are appealing for help in locating this man (pictured), who is wanted on recall to prison.
