Chris Anderson from No Eyed Theatre reached out to Hyde Fundraisers recently when he upgraded the Sven mascot which is being used for a stage production.
Rather than see the old Sven disposed of he contacted the fundraisers in case it was something they could use.
The two person costume has made several appearances over the years but had come to the end of its useful life with No Eyed Theatre. So Hyde Fundraisers were delighted to take the old Sven which they intend to refurbish, including new legs and animated eyes by Cheryl Revell and Pete Brocklehurst. In addition the group will also be adding an animated Olaf figure too.
Chris has made an incredible amount of characters and costumes for stageshows, parades and special events across the UK.
Based at his workshop in Mossley he has crafted a Dragon for Shrek, huge Krampus character and a giant spaceman amongst other things.
