Beer festival comes to Charlesworth and Chisworth cricket club

On Friday 7th & Saturday 8th of June Charlesworth & Chisworth Cricket Club are pleased to announce that they are hosting their beer festival for a second year following the great success of their first festival last year.

There will be eight cask ales available from local breweries, the returning favourites: Thornsett Brewery & Hop Yard and Torrside Brewing, with newcomers; Pictish Brewing Company, ShinDigger, Sureshot Brewing & Peak Ales Ltd.

They are particularly excited to have on tap a one-off ale from Thornsett Brewery that is being brewed especially for their festival. Not only that but there newly refurbished club bar will be open for business including a range of new gins to try.

On Friday night, local folk band Ólta and guitarist Zach Luke will be playing with fresh, stone-baked pizzas, supplied by Wilde & White Woodfired Pizzas.

On Saturday afternoon, whilst their first XI will take to the pitch in their league game against Birch Vale & Thornsett Cricket Club, wonderful hot and cold food will be available, supplied by Lymefield Garden Centre.

Later on in the evening,  a quiz & games night is planed in the clubhouse with a gallon of ale on offer for the winners.
