A bid to build a bigger communications mast close to Glossop North End goes before councillors on Monday.
EE (UK) Ltd and Three (UK) Ltd want to replace the 19.4 metre Orange mast with a new 25 metre monopole supporting six new antennas, three new 600mm diameter dishes, a relocated 300mm diameter dish (from the current mast) and nine equipment cabinets, plus ancillary works.
High Peak Development Control Committee is being recommended to approve the application, which will reduce the need for additional sites in the area by the two operators.
