Tintwistle Brass Band is joining forces with their guest Alder Valley Brass for a concert in Hadfield.

Alder Valley, based near Aldershot in Hampshire, are visiting the area to compete in the Whit Friday Brass Band contests in Tameside.

Before they return home, they are performing in a joint concert taking place at Glossopdale School on Saturday 11 June at 7:30pm.

This will be particularly enjoyable for Tintwistle player, Peter Haigh, who was a member of Alder Valley Brass for many years, before relocating back to Glossop.

The concert will be held at The Place Theatre, Glossopdale School.

Tickets are priced at £10 (£6 concessions) and are available in advance at www.ticketsource.co.uk/Tintwistle-Band or on the door.
