'Coffee with a Cop' in Simmondley

Police officers from the local neighbourhood team will be holding another 'Coffee with a Cop' session in Simmondley on Thursday (28 October).

Glossop Police Safer Neighbourhood Team offered to host two informal sessions for members of the public to ask questions and raise concerns, as well as issue crime prevention advice.

It follows an increased number of crimes in the Simmondley area recently.

There was a good turnout for the first session, held last Thursday.

Simmondley borough councillor Stewart Gardner said it was a useful meeting, with car crime and home security at the top of the agenda.

The next one will be at 11am on Thursday at Yogi Coffee Shop on Pennine Road.
