Community litter pick in Glossopdale

A community litter pick is taking place in Glossopdale on Saturday 9 April, as part of the Great British Spring Clean campaign.

Volunteers from local churches and the local community are going to pick litter from the path leading down from Cottage Lane in Gamesley to Brookfield (A57).

Anyone who wants to lend a hand is invited to join them at 10am at the top of the path. Parking is available in the car park off Edale Crescent in Gamesley.

Litter picking equipment will be provided and those taking part are asked to bring along a pair of strong gloves (e.g. gardening gloves).
