The leader of Derbyshire County Council has been shortlisted in the 2022 Councillor Awards.
Councillor Barry Lewis, who has led the council since 2017, was nominated in the Leader of the Year category.
Nearly 400 nominations were received across England and Wales for the five categories in the LGIU and CCLA Cllr Awards and a shortlist drawn up.
The winners of the awards for Community Champion, Leader of the Year, Lifetime Achievement, Resilience and Recovery and Young Councillor of the Year will be revealed at a ceremony on 20 October.
