Expansion for Glossop-based firm

Luke Hopwood.

Glossop-based firm Domestic-Air is expanding after acquiring the EnviroVent franchise for the Stoke-on-Trent and Shrewsbury areas.

The move sees life coming full circle for owner Luke Hopwood, who has 15 years’ experience in the industry and previously worked for EnviroVent.

Starting his career as an apprentice before becoming a service engineer and then joining EnviroVent as Area Sales Manager, Luke left to strike out on his own and set up Domestic-Air.

Luke said: “I am so excited to be taking on the EnviroVent franchise for the Stoke and Shrewsbury regions.

“Having had extensive experience of working with EnviroVent products, it will be great to be able to offer customers their market leading ventilation products through my own company.”

Domestic-Air employs a team of professional surveyors who carry out condensation, mould and ventilation surveys, as well as installation of ventilation systems and an after-care service.

John Moss, Sales Director for Home at EnviroVent, said: “We are confident he will make a big success of his ventilation business and we’ll be supporting the Domestic-Air team every step of the way.

"We wish Luke all the best as he embarks on his exciting journey with us.”
