FOGS receive platinum at It's Your Station awards

On Monday 18th March Friends of Glossop Station received a certificate of excellence at Platinum level in the It's Your Station category at the 2024 Community Rail Awards held this year in Swansea.

Neil Williams of FOGS accepted the certificate on behalf of the group, who were delighted with this national recognition. The award covers all the voluntary work carried out at the station- the gardening,  the Art and Poetry  displays and Community events like the annual Teddy Bears Picnic.

FOGS are very grateful for the support they receive from the staff at the station and for feedback given by regular travellers and visitors.
