An annual charity walk that raises funds for cancer charities has been given a boost.

This year to coincide with The Mellor March, the Little Mill Inn at Rowarth raised £1,000 by holding an event with live music, stalls, and street food.

Since it started in 1994 the Mellor March, which features a sponsored walk around the boundary of the village, has raised thousands of pounds for cancer related charities.
