A popular art competition that celebrates the village of Hayfield is back later this month.
The competition, organised by Hayfield Civic Trust, is open to everyone, with prizes for the nine categories.
Taking place on Saturday 25 June, all those taking part are asked to register their blank canvas at St Matthew's Church Hall between 8.30am and 11am.
They will then have the day to create their pictures to celebrate Hayfield and its countryside. Finished works are displayed for public voting from 4pm.
Children’s prizes include quality art materials, specially chosen to suit each age group, and for the adults there are cash prizes for the winning three paintings.
