Speaking to the Glossop Chronicle, Joanna said she hoped the Greens would improve on their percentage share of the vote, but feared they would not break through across the country as the public turned to Labour to force out an unpopular Conservative government.
We asked Jon for a few words, but he said he preferred to wait until after the declaration.
We've been speaking to former Glossop Chronicle editor David Jones tonight too.
He remembered a very cold night out at the last election in December - but predicts Labour will win the High Peak seat tonight, returning Jon Pearce as Labour MP for the constituency.
