Residents are being advised to avoid Arundel Street in Glossop after a lorry has got stuck underneath a bridge.

Traffic is expected to be affected around Arundel Street following an accident with a lorry. Police have been working to direct traffic around the lorry, giving them a narrow gap to travel through.

Train services seem to be running as usual, but it is believed that the bridge was inspected earlier in the day for safety.

Residents are advised to plan ahead when travelling in the area.
