A man has been taken to hospital after being injured in a collision involving a motorbike and a car in Glossop this afternoon (Thursday).
A blue Audi and a Honda motorbike collided on High Street East, at the junction with Manor Park Road, at around 3pm.
A Derbyshire Constabulary spokesperson told the Glossop Chronicle: "We were called at 3.10pm to reports of a collision between a blue Audi and a Honda motorbike near the Commercial Inn pub.
"A casualty - thought to be the motorbike rider - was checked at the scene and has been taken to Tameside Hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
"Both vehicles have been recovered."
The road was partially blocked for around an hour as a result of the accident but is now clear.
