Mobile cameras could be homing in on vehicles on the main road through Charlesworth and Chisworth from now until November 20.
The A626 is one of the roads under the surveillance of Derbyshire CREST (Casualty Reduction Enforcement Support Team).
Others on the list are: B5470 Manchester Road, Chapel and the A623 Peak Forest.
None in Glossop are included, although standard checks could take place just about anywhere.
The CREST cameras will be looking for drivers using mobile phones at the wheel or anyone not wearing a seat belt - in fact any motoring offence.
