More events cancelled in Tintwistle

More annual events in Tintwistle have been called off due to Covid-19.

Organisers say it is because of the ongoing level of uncertainty.

The children’s gala, one of the highlights of the year, was cancelled last month.

Other casualties recently announced are the fruit, flower and vegetable show and the well dressings.

While Tintwistle Parish Council meetings are now held remotely by Zoom.
