Volunteers from Kinder Mountain Rescue Team were called into action on Wednesday evening (17 November) after a farmer had fallen in a field while feeding her animals.
The team were called to a farm off the A624 Hayfield to Chinley road to assist an EMAS ambulance crew.
The injured lady was treated at the scene and carried on a stretcher over slippery ground to the waiting ambulance.
The team were called at 7pm and were there for almost 90 minutes.
