Musical fun for Glossop children

Oliver JR production.

Performance arts charity Take Part are encouraging children to join their production of the musical Oliver.

Whether they’re interested in singing, acting or backstage, children of all abilities can gain experience of putting on a show.

The live performance is going to take place at Glossopdale Theatre on December 18.

Head of Take Part Glossop Leanne Chance added: “We’re completely inclusive and give the children a sense of belonging, community and responsibility.

“We want to build their confidence and help them grow as individuals. There’s been so much isolation, so the production is really about rebuilding and connecting to people.

“It’s also a chance to celebrate who is in our community. We can really adapt our performance to include everybody.”

Take Part has three sites across New Mills, Glossop and Marple.

Find out more or be a part of the production at https://wearetakepart.com/ or book tickets for Oliver Jr here.
