Prince Andrew has been hitting the headlines all over the world in the last few weeks - and here he is making the news in High Peak way back in March 2003.
The Duke of York was in Dove Holes to open Buxton Mountain Rescue Team’s new £80,000 headquarters.
We sent our Chapel-en-le-Frith correspondent Nigel Bradbury to cover his first Royal visit.
Among the welcoming party were then High Peak MP Labour’s Tom Levitt and the borough’s Mayor Cllr Lance Dowson.
Prince Andrew dropped in by helicopter, watched a mock casualty being strapped to a stretcher and then took time out to have a few words with a group of cheering schoolchildren. Then he was off on another Royal engagement.
