Open Day at Glossop Fire Station

Glossop Fire Station is hosting an Open Day on Thursday 27 July.

It's from 1pm until 5pm at the Whitfield Park station off Charlestown Road.

There will be an opportunity to meet your local firefighters, who will carry out a kitchen fire demonstration.

Police officers, as well as volunteers from Glossop Mountain Rescue Team, will also be in attendance.

There will be a burger van, ice cream and lots more.

It's a free event and everyone is welcome.

All proceeds raised will go to The Fire Fighters Charity, which helps members of the UK's fire services community to live healthier and happier.
