Proposals to add insulation to a building in Padfield have been rejected because of the impact it would have on the Conservation Area.
The application for 36 Post Street was to remove existing render, install external wall insulation boards and apply render to match existing pattern and colour.
However, the plans were turned down by High Peak Borough Council as it would result in an unacceptable loss of historic detailing to the detriment of the character and appearance of the building and the wider Padfield Conservation Area.
