Plans for grouse pub

A once popular Birch Vale pub could soon be turned into homes.

CSV Developments Ltd has been given the go-ahead to completely transform The Grouse Hotel on New Mills Road.

High Peak Borough Council has approved a planning application to convert the inn into two dwellings, one three bedroom and one four.

They also approved an outline application to construct eight three bedroom semi-detached houses in the car park behind the inn.
