Plans for this year's New Mills Festival programme

New Mills Festival's next two-week celebration of the town is starting to come together.

The festival committee is now asking for event organisers to let them know of their plans for this year so they can compile a programme.

This year's theme is 'Places and Spaces'.

New Mills Festival will feature community events, screenings, gigs, walks, talks and art. Organisers say it’ll be a non-stop fortnight of creativity, family fun and community involvement.

If you're thinking of hosting an event, or if you want an event included in this year's programme, you can find all the details of how to enter at www.newmillsfestival.co.uk

The programme is already filling up fast especially for the weekend dates, so the festival's Programming Committee especially welcomes any events that can be held on weekday nights so that they can have a well-balanced festival programme.

The festival runs from 9 to 25 September.

If you're an event organiser and have any queries or want to discuss any ideas, email programme@newmillsfestival.co.uk
