Police recruiting cadets and leaders in Glossop

Are you interested in learning more about the police? Derbyshire Police are currently recruiting in the Glossop area for Police Cadets and Cadet Leaders. 

There are opportunities for those interesting in working with young people and making a difference in your community to become Cadet Leaders mentoring young people. 

Cadets is open to 13 to18-year-olds who are interested in making new friendships, taking part in fun activities, and developing new skills. 

There are weekly meetings, social action projects and local initiatives aimed at raising the profile of young people in the county and giving you a real insight into policing. 

As well as experiencing the different areas of policing such as task force, dog section, road policing unit and other operational teams, the scheme is structured to allow Cadets to attain the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme (Silver).
