Round-up: High Peak planning applications

Here's our latest round-up of planning applications which have been submitted to, and approved by, High Peak Borough Council. 

Applications submitted of late include:

  • Single storey rear extension and internal alterations at 5 Goyt Place, Whaley Bridge 
  • Green corrugated steel-framed structure at Stephanie Works, Chinley 

The plans are available to view on the council’s website www.highpeak.gov.uk

Plans that have been given the go-ahead include:

  • Permission to create a driveway in the current front garden of 16 Derwent Square, Chinley 
  • Loft conversion and rear extension to 12 Highstones Gardens, Hope Street, Glossop 
  • Reserved Matters for the construction of a four-bedroom detached house and associated works on land adjacent to 265 Hadfield Road, Hadfield, Glossop 
  • Change of use from commercial premises formerly the Royal Bank of Scotland to a one bedroomed residential property, Buxton Road, Whaley Bridge
