Round-up: Planning applications in the High Peak

A host of planning applications have been submitted to, and approved by, High Peak Borough Council recently. We've rounded them up for you... 

Plans submitted include:

  • Single storey rear and side extension to replace existing conservatory at The Firs, Talbot Road, Glossop 
  • single storey extension, side extension above existing garage and associated roof alterations at Highstones, Bute Street, Glossop  
  • Side and rear extension at 16 Thornell Close, Chapel-En-Le-Frith 
  • Single storey front extension at 7 White Road, New Mills 
  • Side and rear extension at 1 Holly Bank, Whitle Road, New Mills 
  • first floor side and front extension and single storey rear extension at 27 Meadowfield, Whaley Bridge,    
  • Replacement of single-storey garage building (C3) with a single-storey building for holiday let (C3) at Overlea Cottage, New Mills 
  • First floor extension to the side and single storey rear extension at 5 Shropshire Drive, Glossop 
  • Demolition of rear conservatory and construction of new single storey rear extension at 4, Hartington Drive, Chinley  

The plans that have been given the go-ahead include: 

  • Demolition of existing porch and shower room and new side extension over existing annex, single storey side garage and kitchen extension at 29 Thomas Street, Glossop           
  • First floor side extension and single storey rear extension 16 Heatherlea, Dinting Road, Glossop 
  • Extension of existing detached garage and partial conversion to home office room at 9 Greenfield Close, New Mills 
  • Garage conversion at 5 Bagshawe Avenue, Chapel-En-Le-Frith 
  • Enlargement and adaptation of the existing dwelling at 21 Baslow Close, Gamesley, Glossop 
  • Change of use from agricultural building to dwelling Hoecroft Farm, Hague Street, Glossop,  
  • Part two storey and part single storey side extension 11, Spire Hollin, Glossop 
  • Proposed extension to the annex at Old Quarry Rise, Hargate Hill, Glossop
