ROUND-UP: Planning applications in the High Peak

Here's our latest round-up of planning applications which have recently been submitted to, and approved by, High Peak Borough Council.

New applications 

A number of planning applications have been submitted to High Peak Borough Council, which include: 

  • Rear two storey extension and side gable extension at 9 Sandybank Close, Hadfield, Glossop 
  • Single storey rear extension to the existing property at 8 Pinfold, Hadfield, Glossop 
  • Single storey extensions to existing dwelling and an annex in the garden of 2 Bank Street, Glossop 
  • Proposed first floor extension over garage at 12 Spring Rise, Simmondley, Glossop 
  • Two storey side extension above existing garage at 3 Lawnfold, Hadfield, Glossop 
  • Proposed garden room at The Potting Shed, Bankhall, Chapel-En-Le-Frith 
  • General purpose agricultural shed at Valley Farm, Whitehough Head Lane, Whitehough 
  • Single storey side extension with raised decked area to the rear of 18 Rosey Bank, Jane Lane, Buxworth    
  • Change of use from offices to 2 one-bedroom dwellings at The Yard, Railway Street, Glossop

Plans approved 

Plans that have been given the go ahead and granted permission by High Peak Borough Council include: 

  • Demolition of existing conservatory and construction of single storey side and rear extension at 21 Princes Road, Chinley 
  • Build up front elevation and create raised catslide roof with dormer extension over garage at Foals Croft, Folds Lane, Fernilee 
  • Proposed alterations to windows and loft conversion at 1 Springfield Terrace, Valley Road, Hayfield 
  • Listed building consent for the refurbishment of No. 6 Ingham Almshouse at St James Square, New Mills 
  • Demolition of existing garage, two-storey side extension, incorporating garage and installation of rear balcony with associated external works at Willowby, Woodseats Lane, Charlesworth
