Santa Dash in Tintwistle

A whole sleigh-load of Father Christmas look-likes will soon be running through a Glossopdale village.

Tintwistle Athletic FC is holding a ‘Santa Dash’ on Sunday, December 1, at 2pm.

Entry costs £10 and for that you get a Santa suit and what’s described as ‘a treat’ at the end of the dash.

It sets off from the football centre on West Drive and goes around Bottoms Reservoir.

The finish is back at Athletic’s club house where you receive your treat.

Entries close on November 18 and anyone can get involved.
