A man from Stalybridge has been charged following an incident in Glossop where a man was stabbed.
Johnny Joyce, 28, of Stephen Close, appeared before Tameside Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (2 November) charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
He was remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Minshull Street Crown Court in Manchester on Tuesday 9 November.
Officers were called to reports that a 22-year-old man had been stabbed in Hawthorn Drive, Glossop, in the early hours of Tuesday 21 September.
Mr Joyce was arrested by officers from Greater Manchester Police on Monday (1 November).
Last week, officers from GMP were issuing wanted posters in the Carrbrook area of Stalybridge in a hunt to find Joyce, which said he was wanted in connection with attempted murder.
