Success for Glossop Pony Club

Years of hard work, training and dedication finally paid off for a young team at Glossop Pony Club as they took the win at the Area 4 Blue Cross Horse and Pony Care Competition.

They now qualify for the championships to represent not only their club but the whole of the district.

The team have travelled far and wide representing Glossop in the competition, from Preston to the Isle of Man, and were victorious last weekend in Kendal in the Lake District.

Glossop Pony Club also had a senior team who took a well-deserved second place and a young new team who took fourth place in the juniors section.

A spokesperson for Glossop Pony Club said the district commissioner, team trainer, parents and the whole club would like to say a huge well done and bring on the championships.
