With Covid-19 restrictions starting to ease, we have been looking at the latest figures for the borough.
In the High Peak, the most up-to-date figures available have revealed that the number of Covid cases has fallen by 40.9 per cent.
According to Public Health England data, the rate is 698.5 cases per 100,000 people for the seven days up to 18 January.
The figure for Derbyshire is 706 cases per 100,000 people.
Across the High Peak Borough Council area, there were 647 cases of Covid, a fall of 447, while across the county cases fell by 4,211 to 5,699.
In neighbouring Tameside, the figures for the same period show 1053.2 cases per 100,000 with 2,392 cases.
Vaccination figures, which go up to and include 22 January, show that in the High Peak 69.2 per cent of adults and children aged 12 and over have received two doses and a booster.
In Derbyshire, that figure is 69 per cent and in Tameside 54.7 per cent of people have had three doses of the vaccine.
