A man from Tintwistle has been charged with drink driving following a collision in Glossop last weekend.
Just after 8.45pm on Saturday night (28 January), police received a report of a car which had allegedly crashed into a wall on Woodhead Road, at the junction with Cemetery Road.
Officers attended and the driver was taken to hospital as a precaution but did not report any serious injuries.
Martin Dyson, of West Drive in Tintwistle, was arrested and later charged with driving over the prescribed limit of alcohol.
The 42-year-old has been bailed and is due to appear at Stockport Magistrates' Court in April.
