Wrong way rush hour driving drama

Officers are appealing for dashcam footage after a driver cut across oncoming traffic on a rush hour slip road.

The incident at 8:43am of Monday February 10 saw a blue Toyota Aygo travel the wrong way as headed into Chapel-en-le-Frith from the Buxton Road bypass.

Police say it took place on a part of the road where the speed limit reduced to 50mph and lanes merge into one.

High Peak PCSO Brian Buller said: “If you were in the area at the time and possibly witnessed this incident taking place or if you have any dash-cam footage, then please contact Derbyshire Constabulary and quote reference 2500084759.”
