Police in Oldham stopped a driver and seized his vehicle after he was caught without valid insurance.
Officers from the team’s specialist road policing unit stopped the driver in the Hollinwood area, just after 9pm last night.
Following an investigation, it was discovered that he was driving without valid car insurance.
Inspector Connor Brook said: “I wanted to share with you one of our vehicle seizures this evening.
“Committing this offence leaves other road users exposed and at risk.
“This continues our work to keep our roads safe from crime and anti-social behaviour in Oldham.”
Residents are encouraged to call the police on the non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 if they suspect anything untoward.
In the event of a danger dial 999.
