Fire crews were called out to a car fire in Royton last night as they tried to tackle the blaze for almost an hour.
Firefighters from Oldham, Chadderton and Hollins Stations attended at the scene of the vehicle fire on Edge Lane Street at round 10.40pm.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “At shortly before 10.40pm on Tuesday (September 9) three fire engines from Oldham, Chadderton and Hollins fire stations were called to a car fire on Edge Lane Street, Royton.
“Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reels to extinguish the fire and make the surrounding area safe. Crews were in attendance for around 50 minutes.”
