Saleh Uddin Talukdar, a Keep Britain Tidy Litter Hero Ambassador and Founder of the Good Deed Foundation, was out once again with his team to rid streets of rubbish while fasting.
The team of volunteers met outside the Colliers Arms, Old Lane in Chadderton as they began to clean up litter around the area including Block Lane and other surrounding streets.
Four volunteers took part, collecting four full bags of waste from the nearby area.
Saleh said: “The local residents appreciated our work while also committing to taking responsibility too and helping to keep the streets tidy."
Mr Talukdar has been a committed volunteer for litter picking and social issues for a large number of years. He said everyone had a duty to make changes and litter picking was a great way to make a positive impact in the community.
