Police are appealing for information after a man was left with severe facial injuries near a pub and wholesale store on Rochdale Canal.
It is believed that the victim was assaulted and required surgery following the attack on February 28, between 4.45pm-5.30pm.
Anyone with information, CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage is asked to call 0161 856 8931 quoting incident 1007 of 01/03/2025.
