A 36-year-old man from Oldham has been charged with five offences, after a man was left with serious stab wounds in an assault in Manchester.
Covi Henry, of Furness Avenue, has been charged with Section 18 wounding with intent, possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply, possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of ammunition without a certificate, and possession of a firearm and ammunition when prohibited for life.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear before Manchester Magistrates’ Court later today (Saturday).
A 36-year-old man presented himself at hospital with serious stab injuries at around 10.30pm on Friday, May 29.
Police established that he had been assaulted on Saxthorpe Walk.
