Overnight weekend motorway closures

National Highways are closing the M67 in both directions between Jjunction 1a and 3 overnight (9pm to 5am) as work continues on the new bridge deck.

For safety reasons the hard shoulder in both directions will remain closed until the project is completed.

This is an essential phase in getting everything ready for the bridge to re-open next year.

Please follow the clearly signed diversion and allow more time to complete your journeys.

National Highways will try to keep disruption to a minimum and thank you for your patience.

Please remember that closures can change at short notice. You can check the latest information on their daily closures page or find live travel information on Traffic England.
