A pensioner was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after he was struck by a car in Failsworth yesterday.
Emergency services were called to Oldham Road at around 1:30pm on Monday (March 17) following reports of a crash between a car and a pedestrian.
The road was closed between Old Church Road and A663 Broadway for a number of hours, with an air ambulance on the scene to treat the man.
Police have now confirmed a 69-year-old pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
They are also keen to speak to anyone who may have footage, including dashcam, mobile phone footage from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.
