Emergency services were called out to the Primark Store in Market place last night after a woman died.
The area around the store was cordoned off while paramedic investigated the death.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “We were called to reports of a medical episode. A 60-year-old woman sadly passed away.”
