A serving police officer from Oldham has been charged with harassment of a woman.
PC Dean Dickenson was charged by Greater Manchester Police on Friday (23 September) following a report of harassment of a woman over a period of three months.
In a statement, GMP said they received a report that a woman was repeatedly contacted by a police officer between 10 December 2021 and 21 March 2022.
It added that the 51-year-old has been placed on restricted duties and will attend Manchester Magistrates' Court on 30 September at 11:30am.
