Police have issued an update following the discovery of several suspicious items from a house in Greenfield yesterday (Sunday).
Following an assessment by bomb squad officers, a number of items have been safely removed from the property on Chew Brook Drive, Greenfield.
They have now been sent away for further analysis.
Some residents were asked to leave their properties after a cordon was put in place for the safety of the public - they were later able to return to their homes.
Chief Inspector Ian Partington said: "We would like to thank residents for their patience and co-operation today while we carried out our investigations alongside partners at the EOD and the fire service."
