Local people are being invited to the Shree Swaminarayan Mandir this weekend, which is hosting Oldham Histories Festival and Heritage Open Days.
Visitors will get the chance to step inside the beautiful building on Copster Hill Road, Oldham, and get a glimpse of the temple, grand prayer hall, and tranquil garden space.
And if that were not enough, residents can learn about Hinduism and explore the temple’s history and architecture, meet members of the local Hindu community, and learn more about the faith.
The event takes place on Saturday, September 19 from 10am-12 noon. There is no need to book.
