Two men have been charged after a man was assaulted during a robbery at a retail park in Chadderton.
Hussain Akhtar, 31, of Mallow Close, Oldham has been charged with robbery, dangerous driving, racially aggravated assault and common assault.
Rubel Amin, 27, of no fixed abode, has been charged with robbery.
They were remanded to appear at Stockport Magistrates’ Court (pictured) on 8 April 2020, where they were remanded to appear at Manchester Crown Court on 6 May 2020.
At around 5.10pm on Monday, April 6, a man was confronted in the car park of Gateway Retail Park in Chadderton by two men who demanded the keys to his car. They assaulted him before stealing a bag from inside his vehicle.
Police arrived and following a short pursuit, two men were arrested.
