Thirteen Oldham Mountain Rescue Team members were called to assist North West Ambulance on Sunday morning after a walker fell visiting Dove Stone Reservior sustaining multiple injuries.
Volunteer team members located the casualty, where an OMRT Remote Rescue Medical Technician carried out an assessment for injuries, administered pain relief and splinted a suspected broken arm.
The casualty was then carefully transferred onto a stretcher before being carried around the reservoir to the waiting ambulance for onward care.
OMRT spokesperson said:” We wish the casualty all the best for a smooth and speedy recovery.”
It was the team's second callout of the weekend and involved them for two hours 30 minutes.
