Oldham parkrun has reached a key milestone after celebrating its 500th event.
The free community run through Alexandra Park first started in July 2010 and returned earlier this month for the first time since the coronavirus pandemic began.
The 5k run starts at 9am every Saturday morning but, as run director Warren Siddall says, it needs volunteers to help it run smoothly.
People can turn up but participants can have their times recorded by registering online at parkrun.org.uk/oldham.
See how it went in the video at the top of the page, captured by our very own Nigel Wood.
