Avro Face Cup Clash

Avro are in Macron Cup action this weekend as they host Vauxhall Motors FC at the Vestacare Stadium.

Avro have been knocked out of the cup competitions they have played in so far this season so they will be eager to put a good run together in the Macron Cup. Vauxhall Motors are in the division below as they play in the First Division South meaning Avro will be favourites for the clash.

Avro have adapted to life well int the North West Counties Premier Division as they sit in 14th place after achieving promotion last season. Avro have lost their last two games in the league so a good cup run could go a long way in Avro recovering their form. Avro’s last game was a 2-1 defeat at home to Whitchurch Alport in a game where Avro played quite well and will count themselves unlucky to no get a point.

Vauxhall have been in blistering form this season as they currently sit in 2nd place and have also won 5 of their last six games. They will provide a stern test for Avro as they look to prove themselves in a fixture that could take place in the Premier Division next season.

Vauxhall’s last game was a 2-1 win over Jarrow FC in the cup in which they bagged the winner in extra-time.
