Mossley AFC sign new striker

Mossley AFC have secured the services of striker Reece Webb-Foster, after he spent the second half of last season at Seel Park.

The 26-year-old scored with his first touch in a Mossley shirt, netting from the bench in a 1-1 draw against Witton Albion in December 2023, but it remains his only goal so far.

The Yorkshireman began his career with Bradford City, becoming one of the club’s youngest players in September 2014 when, as a 16-year-old, he played against MK Dons in a League Cup tie.

His Football League debut followed in April 2015 in a 1-0 defeat at Gillingham.

Webb-Foster moved into non-League football in 2018, joining current Ashton United boss Steve Cunningham at Colne for the first of three prolific spells.

He also had three stints with Droylsden, and has played for Lancaster City, Matlock Town, Ossett United, Buxton and Clitheroe.
